Ductile iron QT500-7, which is ductile iron grade 500, is widely used by Wada Group to produce most pump casings, cover plate and frame plate. It is a ductile grade of grey iron used where higher physical properties and greater shock resistance are required compared to HT200 and is specially used in pump casings to handle the MAX pressure.

Bearing House and Base

Wada Group provide two material option to produce the bearing house and base, ductile iron QT500 and gray Iron HT200.


HT200 is grey iron grade 200. That is an inexpensive alloy used where high physical strength and erosion resistance are not required. It can save more cost comparing ductile iron.
